New York Methodist Hospital offers a free Surgical Weight Reduction Information Seminar and Support Group. This month the group will meet on Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. During the first 30 minutes of the seminar, a surgeon will conduct and information seminar session for individuals who are interested in learning about the surgery. A 90-minute support group meeting open to pre- and post- operative patients will follow the information session.
